On March 23rd of this New Year 2019, Harriet would have turned 70

and on October 12th it will have been 20 years since her passing.

In commemoration of these dates the original website I created about Harriet’s life during my difficult months after her passing has been totally revised. During this rebuilding process, many wonderful memories were reignited and once again I marveled at this incredible woman with whom I was blessed to spend over 30 years becoming who I am today and raising a terrific family.

The written remarks that many family members, friends and others shared with me after her passing are once again contained in this new easy to navigate website.  There are also photo galleries of Harriet as a youngster growing up, as well as photos of her with friends and family during her lifetime. For my very close "new" friends made since her passing, this website provides an opportunity to get to know Harriet and my life with her.

Another very significant reason for this overhaul is to give Avram, Hannah & Grace an opportunity to get to know their paternal grandmother Harriet when the time is right.  They know and love their "Nanny" Leslie and “Mimi” Sylvia since birth. Similarly, Leslie and Sylvia love the three of them deeply and share so much with them.  As my grandkids age and before it was too late for me to recreate this website, I wanted them to have the opportunity to connect with her.  Oh, how Harriet would have loved them.  Also, how proud she would be of her sons, Joel and Jesse…their kind character, professional achievements and generosity…just like their mom.

My life is now full with a wonderful wife, family and large cohort of friends.  Yet, I still often think of her and feel a deep sorrow for all the wonders in life that she has missed that we fortunately continue to experience.
